About the Project

The Fikirtepe Urban Transformation Project (“New Fikirtepe”) is a large-scale urban renewal initiative in the Fikirtepe area of Kadıköy, Istanbul. The project aims to transform the region's old buildings, providing earthquake-resistant, modern, and high-quality living environments.

Planned in 18 separate phases, the project includes a total of 11,295 independent units, with an expected population of approximately 60,000 residents.

Social amenities such as green areas, parks, infrastructure improvements, and public transportation connections play an important role in the project. In some phases, the delivery process for property owners’ units has already begun, while work continues in other phases.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held in 2017, and the project was officially restructured under the title “New Fikirtepe” and shared with the public. Demolition and evacuation processes are regularly announced to the public.
